The Box Direct Link Generator extension does not collect, store, or share any personal user data. The extension only processes the Box shared URLs provided by the user to generate direct download links.
The Box shared URLs entered by the user are processed locally within the extension. No data is sent to external servers except for the API request to generate the direct download link. The API request only includes the shared name extracted from the Box URL and does not contain any personal or identifiable information.
The extension does not store any user data, including Box shared URLs or generated download links, on any local or remote servers.
The extension uses our own API hosted at box.asifkamboh.com to generate direct download links. This API does not collect or store any personal user data.
The extension requires the "clipboardWrite" permission to allow users to copy the generated download link to their clipboard. This permission is only used for this specific functionality and does not involve accessing or modifying any other data on the user's device.
